Project Implementation

To realize our project, which was born as an idea, support was requested from our Swedish friends, local associations and municipalities by post.

With the announcements they made via their own social media accounts, people were reached who would support the project to practice the Swedish language.

All participants in the Digital Fika project are women who have just come to Sweden.

With the necessary support, the project was started and an application form was prepared.

Prepared application forms Facebook, Instagram, etc. Women who want to learn Swedish and volunteer Swedish teachers were reached by sharing them on social media networks.

Dozens of women living in different regions in Sweden applied for Digital Fika. Applicants are grouped according to their Swedish language level.

Feedback on Digital Fika

New friendships have been created from north to south, east to west of Sweden through digital coffee. Participants are encouraged to speak Swedish in a friendly and warm environment.

All participants had the opportunity to practice the Swedish language without leaving their homes during pandemic days, provided that it is at least one day and one hour a week.

Each group has been given the freedom to choose a topic, which means that they can discover new areas of interest and gain access to information.

Two separate questionnaires were prepared for approximately 133 participants and 28 teachers. The questionnaire was sent to each participant via e-mail.

This is our first survey regarding Digital Coffee and is still ongoing on our social media.

Below you can see the questions we have asked those who have participated in Digital Coffee. Right now, 74 people have answered the questions and filled in the questionnaire.

We have made an analysis through the answers we have received / we have analyzed the answers we have received.
